Dr. Ava Kate’s Education and Experience
Ava has a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Seminary's Graduate School of Psychology, and a Doctor of Leadership degree from Evangel University. Ava’s doctoral work focused on the psychological and characterological competencies that ensure long-term sustained impact for females seeking to overcome obstacles on the road to a meaningful and purpose driven life in the 21st century.
Building on over twenty-five years in mental health and leadership development, Ava brings an impactful background working with those struggling with life controlling issues, women in transition, depression and anxiety disorders.
Her capacity to believe in people after they’ve given up on themselves bears life transforming fruit. Her communication skills naturally opened opportunities to teach, write, and speak on mental health issues at the local, national, and international level.
She has served as Associate Professor on the faculty at Vanguard University of Southern California, Associate Professor at Evangel University, as well as other influential leadership roles. She has a background in training as a Marriage and Family Therapist and served at the Center for Family Therapy in Orange, CA. She is a Certified Life Mastery Coach with executive level training, where she studied with Olympic Gold Medalists and trained by the best in the industry, including Dr. Kirsten Welles, founding member of the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School.
